It’s one of the newest additions to the renowned chain of pet stores in Quebec, and it seems to have received a warm welcome in the neighborhood. “We opened before Christmas and felt a lot of enthusiasm from local customers, and more and more local business owners are also coming by to visit us. It’s a positive energy that’s gradually taking root, with relationships that will grow stronger over time,” say the owners, Katherine P. Hurtado and Benoît Blackburn, with warm smiles.
For the past year, the couple has already owned a Chico store on Bélanger Street in Rosemont, and despite the workload, they couldn’t pass up the opportunity to also manage the Little Italy location. “It’s a shop in the heart of the neighborhood and just steps away from the Jean-Talon Market. It was a great opportunity to seize and develop. We believe that with our highly personalized customer service (Unique! as Katherine emphasizes), we’ll be a real asset for the neighborhood’s pets.” The store offers local residents—and those from outside the area—a whole array of services and products for pets, from food (with a wide variety of options) to engraved tags, from health and beauty products to toys and even nail trimming. Not to mention, delivery within 48 business hours!
In short, you’ll find everything you need for your pets in this Aladdin’s cave. “And if we don’t have it, we’ll order it for you! We offer a full service for special and personalized orders, gift cards, loyalty cards, and a tailor-made rewards program. We’re excited to discover our customers’ favorite products so we can add them to our selection—and if it’s made in Quebec, even better!” explain Katherine and Benoît.
