Impasto is a renowned restaurant in Petite Italie created by chefs Stefano Faita and Michele Fogione. The first has published several books and participated in several television shows, the second is one of the best chefs in town having worked in several excellent restaurants of the metropolis and with training as a pastry chef. Impasto is an inviting place with a sleek décor and modern Italian look designed by the famous Zebulon Perron. Michele Forgione and Liam Beckett make up an Italian menu, which uses local products: “It’s the Italian spirit; like you’re giving ingredients to an Italian and you’re asking him to do something to you, with his mentality. This gives exceptionally tasty delights: salads, pudding, artisanal deli meats, gnocchi, braised rabbit, grandfather porchetta, octopus and others. The menu changes every three months or so, everything is good, very good. Also keep in mind that the chef has a training as a pastry chef: desserts are always decadent.
