About BLAMM :

Trumpeter, tubist, and tenor guitarist Blanche Moisan-Méthé — aka BLAMM — is a woman of her time inspired by century-old music traditions. She previously played brass in the late band Tintamarre as well as in various Latin, Balkan, and folk music projects. But it is New Orleans jazz that became the main influence behind her lyric-driven songs, filled with vintage atmospheres and nostalgic melodies.

Following Balivernes, her first solo album released in 2023, the multi-instrumentalist travelled countless kilometres through Quebec to perform more than fifty shows across the province. Her second album, Paroles en l’air, will be released by Spectacles Bonzaï in fall 2026.

BLAMM delivers orchestral folk-funk bursting with brass! With groove, poetry, and humour, BLAMM’s songs explore the banality and existentialism of contemporary issues that are often rarely addressed.
