As part of the Jeudis Antipasti series, the SDC Petite Italie presents Mort Rose<\/em> and Trop Belle<\/em> on July 9, 2026, at Little Italy Park. For one evening, let yourself be carried away by a raw local energy with rock, new wave, and punk rhythms that will have you dancing without restraint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Mort Rose<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mort Rose<\/em> is a rock band founded in Montreal in 2016 by Alexandre Archambault, Christophe Charest-Latif, Julien Comptour, and Mark Cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This group of music lovers revives the sounds of the late sixties in an authentic, personal, and modern way, creating music with a timeless aesthetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After N\u00e9s pour aimer<\/em> (2020), a kitschy and unapologetic album, and Au Revoir Cowboys <\/em>(2021), a psychedelic and pastoral project, the quartet embraces its musical maturity and refinement before hitting the proverbial rock road once again with Mont Rose in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Trop Belle<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trop Belle<\/em> is an eccentric punk\/new wave band offering a subversive and ironic critique of show business. Led by Lolita Trop Belle, an incredibly glamorous diva who sings in French in hopes of international fame, the group immerses audiences in a participatory universe inspired as much by theatre as by comedy. Somewhere between the B-52\u2019s and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the quintet tackles subjects that are sometimes taboo, sometimes absurd, through a cathartic tone layered over punk sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
