The Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de d\u00e9veloppement commercial (SDC) Petite Italie-March\u00e9 Jean-Talon<\/strong> is proud to unveil its 2025 summer programming. A series of festive and gourmet events that will keep the neighbourhood buzzing from June until the start of the new school year. Montrealers and visitors alike are invited to experience a summer of neighborhood culture, music, cinema, conviviality and the flavors of Montreal’s gourmet district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activities to the beat of music and flavors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le Grand Prix des Saveurs – June 6 to 15<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

June is Flavour Month in Little Italy! Activities begin on June 6 at participating neighborhood establishments, then continue in Parc de la Petite Italie from June 12 to 13: concerts, Italo-disco DJ sets, including GRONDINI (Matteo Grondini<\/a>) from Montreal and Automaticamore (Diana Chan McNally<\/a>) from Toronto,  plus neighborhood gathering with the Ferrari enthusiasts group, FOC Canada, on June 13. On the musical front, Mike Melino will take center stage from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., and Soul Station Orchestra will follow from 8:15 p.m. to 10 p.m., also on June 13. On the weekend of June 14 and 15, the traditional feast of Saint Anthony of Padua will take place in Parc Dante, a partnership between the Notre-Dame-de-la-D\u00e9fense parish and SDC Petite Italie, prolonging the fun in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les Samedis pour emporter- June to September<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Traditional neighbourhood picnics return to Parc de la Petite Italie with Les Samedis pour emporter.<\/em> A relaxed atmosphere, special offers from merchants and live music from bands such as Less Toches <\/a>on June 28 and David Bujold <\/a>on July 19 will punctuate these weekly gatherings, perfect for enjoying summer in the heart of Montr\u00e9al\u2019s Little Italy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferragosto – a block party on August 23 and 24<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Dante Street alley comes alive on August 23 and 24 for Ferragosto<\/em>, a colourful block party organized in collaboration with the famous Gema Pizzeria. A live performance of krautrock-electro-dance music by the group Patche<\/a>, appetizers and beverages offered by merchants in a festive, electricity-filled atmosphere that embodies the spirit of Montreal’s Dolce Vita<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More activities to celebrate Montr\u00e9al\u2019s Italian culture <\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Outdoor cinema – from June 30<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Beginning on June 30, in partnership with Funambules M\u00e9dias, the Institut Italien de Culture Montr\u00e9al and Vision M\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne, a selection of Italian and international feature films and documentaries will be screened outdoors at Place Shamrock and Parc Dante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ital Autofest Montr\u00e9al – July 6 <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Among the highlights of the season, classic Italian car enthusiasts can also look forward to the Festival de l’Automobile italienne de Montr\u00e9al – Ital Autofest<\/a> on  Dante Street!
